From the Brand: Ultra-smooth, Fluidline's gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish.  Goes on "foolproof" with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action.  Long-wearing.  Smudge-proof.

Retails for: $16

Where to Buy: MAC stores or www.maccosmetics.com, or MAC counters in major department stores

My Thoughts: For my clients that are looking for a dramatic liquid liner look, I always reach for my MAC Fluidline.  Although personally I'm not a fan of applying a gel liner, it's a hygienic way to give a liquid liner look without using an actual liquid liner.  Those are impossible to sanitize between clients and should only be used on your own eyes.  I've found over the years that MAC's gel liner is a dependable waterproof brand.  Still, I don't recommend using it on the bottom lashline for better longevity against tears.  It's not listed as waterproof, but through experience I've found it to still be quite durable against them on my brides.  The two colors I use are Blacktrack and Rich Ground.  These also make an incredible dense shadow base for dramatic eye looks.  They wear pretty well in the waterline as well, especially when you use a matching eyeshadow to "set".  These don't dry up quickly like other brands can, and you can get a ton of use out of them.  You use so little that it really lasts a long time and makes it a very cost-effective product.

Final Verdict:  Is this a good buy?  You bet!
